Fees & Tuition Policy

Fees are payable in advance before the commencement of each semester and/or module. All fees are subject to change, generally on an annual basis. Fees are payable in full before commencement of a module unless a payment program has been arranged. Fees are not refundable if a student withdraws after the commencement of the semester/module, however deferment or transfer to another module may be granted at the
discretion of the Principal – an administration fee will apply.

Late Payment Surcharge

If the School allows you to commence a module before the total payment is received a 5% surcharge will apply on the balance outstanding (unless you are on a payment plan).

Refund Policy

Full refund of fees will be given if:

  • The module offered does not begin on the agreed starting time
  • The School ceases to provide the course/module during its term
  • The provider defaults and the student has not withdrawn before the default date (Refunds will be made within two weeks after the provider default date.
  • The student is not granted a student visa to study in Australia

Refund of fees less $75.00 administration fee will be given if:

  • The student withdrew in writing prior to the commencement of a given term (please see section 6.3 of the prospectus).
Refund of fees less the school administration fee of $75.00 and fees paid for the current term of enrolment will be given within four weeks of term commencing if:
  • The course/module offered by the NSW School of Natural Medicine started on the agreed starting date but the student did not start the stream on that date and had notified the School in writing of their intentions.
  • The NSW School of Natural Medicine will give the student a statement that explains how the amount has been calculated.
    NB: This agreement does not remove the right for a fee paying student to take further action under Australia’s consumer protection laws, or to pursue other legal remedies.

Stream and/or Module Fee Alteration

The NSW School of Natural Medicine reserves the right to change the cost, content, lecturers or timetabling of any module or course. Students will be advised of any changes that may be as a result of changing accreditation standards. Should changes in curriculum occur students, enrolled in those modules/courses, will be required to follow the amended curriculum to receive their qualification.

If a Certificate, Diploma, Academic Transcript or Competency Transcript is lost or damaged, a replacement can be provided at a cost of $50.
