Diploma of Reflexology

Code

Description

"There is more to feet than meets the ground"

Reflexology is an ancient healing art that holds the principle that a map of the body exists on the feet. Probing the feet releases tension through the muscles and inner organs, balances the hormonal system and harmonises energy flows, releasing the body's own healing potential. Reflexology restores health by balancing all levels of our being - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Reflexology 1

This module will focus upon effective techniques to work the reflexes in the feet and hands. There is an emphasis upon reflexology for home use and exploring how reflexology can assist in self-treatment. The approach will be practical and hands-on, systematically working through each system of the body. Reflexology One also provides a firm foundation for practitioner level training.

Reflexology Professional 1

This module takes Reflexology to an exciting new level. Practitioner training begins in earnest, shifting the focus upon treating the individual. Insights from Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic Medicine in combination with Western anatomy and physiology are the foundation of this module. These provide the necessary framework for assessing an individual's state of health and directing an appropriate reflexology treatment programme.

A myriad of reflexology techniques and approaches are explored, including many more thumb and finger techniques, an endocrine balance, urinary flush, lymphatic drainage, maternity reflexology, hand reflexology, the biomechanics of the feet, acupressure points and Indian marmas on the feet and hands and reflexology approaches to calm the mind and promote emotional equilibrium.

Reflexology Professional 2

Wholistic reflexology becomes the focus - reflexology to tune body, mind and soul.
Reflexology Professional Level 2 comprises of:

  • The Chinese and Ayurvedic 5 Element Theory and its relevance to the reflexology programme
