This module is designed to give the learner an appreciation of the assessment of, and requirements needed to achieve balance with nature for optimal nutrition. The module will expand on the knowledge gained in Nutrition Concepts and guide the learner to develop and devise dietary regimes appropriate for clients at different life stages and with a range of disorders. This module is studied in a bodily systems format and encompasses the foods and supplements used to treat specific disorders within each body system. Nutrition Therapeutics gives students a detailed and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of nutrition from both the naturopathic/wholistic and biochemical perspective, using the most up-to-date research available as well as traditional naturopathic literature.
