The NSW School of Natural Medicine, has for some years, recognised a dire need for quality post-graduate education for natural medicine practitioners.

For many years, the large Colleges and Universities have been churning out graduates, many of whom were ill prepared for life as a natural medicine practitioner. This, together with the lack of a hierarchical structure within the natural medicine profession, which could provide some differentiation between practitioners viz experienced and inexperienced, specialist or general practitioner, has caused natural medicine to receive adverse publicity regarding poor clinical outcomes or practitioners. The solution: post-graduate education – quality, practical modules to elevate practitioners to a new level of clinical understanding and outcomes and greatly increased professional studies.
