The purpose of this module is to develop competency in the employment of basic communication micro-skills and counselling techniques, incorporating a range of knowledge and skills appropriate for a professional practitioner of natural therapies. A secondary aim is to introduce a variety of therapies (such as Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, NLP etc.) that may be useful to stimulate further study or for referral of clients. The modules will involve lectures, group discussion and experiential processes.
