This highly-regarded two year course gives students a thorough training in Massage Therapy. Graduates are fully qualified as massage practitioners and are eligible to join the Australian Traditional Medicine Society. Our massage graduates are much respected within the natural therapies profession.
The stream involves approximately 25 hours of class time per week, including 128 hours of supervised clinical training. Additional hours of home-directed learning and practical work are required to be completed in the student’s own time, which equates to approximately 1.5 hours of home-directed learning and practical work for every 1 hour of class times.
Students must have a massage table available for home use from the beginning of the stream as they will be required to practice their massage skills outside class hours and complete a log of 100 hours massage at home.
Pre-Requisites:
- Swedish Massage
- Anatomy & Physiology (to run concurrently with massage lectures and cannot be deferred).
