Nail Technology is the art of beautifying nails by the application of corrective nail techniques. This may range from a simple manicure to the application of nail enhancements or nail art. Our students will learn how the apply gel nail enhancement, as well as learn detailed nail art application techniques.
The Certificate II in Nail Technology course is designed to provide students with the skills to provide a variety of nail treatments and to work professionally within a salon environment. Once complete students will be able to provide advanced nail services including:
- Manicure
- Pedicure
- Acrylic nails
- Gel nails
- Use electric files
- Apply nail art
This course is designed for students or beauty therapists wishing to enter the ever growing and exciting creative career of the nail technician. The NSW School of Natural Medicine teaches the most current National Beauty Training package and this is the most up to date qualification available in nails.
Course fees cover:
- Tuition
- Workbooks
- School apron
- Use of the School's products for in class use
- Use of the School's equipment
Nail Kits are in addition to the above and are payable by the student.
Students must complete all the units listed below as well as the compulsory elective units to achieve the Certificate II in Nail Technology. There are no pre requisites for this course.
